Laundry facilities are a low price of $2 per wash and $2 per dry. Other shared areas include our fully equipped commercial kitchen and our spacious guest lounge. The lounge features a pool table, fireplace, couches, television and dining tables.

Outside, you’ll find ample free parking spaces. Our grounds are natively landscaped and include an open fireplace, BBQ area with picnic tables and expansive grassed areas for outdoor activities.

Please note: pillows are supplied, but bedding and towels are not supplied. If you would like to hire a duvet and towel set for the duration of your stay, the cost is $60 per bed. It is then your responsibility to wash the linen set.

We take the safety and wellbeing of our students seriously and have 24/7 management oversight at the residences to ensure students have access to assistance when required.  Responsible for the management of daily life at the lodge, the onsite mangers also work with elected student assistants (SA’s) to organise a variety of activities for the lodge community.  The sense of belonging and connectedness afforded through these activities provides excellent opportunity for language students to mix with other students outside of the classroom environment & to practice their English in everyday social situations.

With consideration of the above factors – safety, social and supported, the managed facilities at Shotover lodge are ABC College of English ‘s preferred accommodation offering for all incoming students.
