All ABC College of English courses are accredited and approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and have a reputation for quality and excellence. ABC offers a wide range of courses and whether you want to study for 2 weeks or 52 weeks ABC has a course, or combination of courses, which will meet your learning needs.
All students are required to be 18 years of age or older at the time of course commencement.
Program overview:
Our General English Course offers a programme of study for students over the age of 18, who wish to improve their level of confidence, accuracy and fluency in Communicative English language skills.

Two Institutions, One Visa
The Pathway Student Visa (PSV) pilot was introduced in December 2015 to enable international students to study up to 3 consecutive courses on a single student visa for up to 5 years. The visa is only available for study with approved Pathway education providers and for some courses of study.
ABC College of English is an approved pathway education provider and has a formal agreement to with Queenstown Resort College (QRC) into their range of tourism and hospitality management programmes.

The key aim for this preparatory course is to introduce students to, and familiarise them with, the format and content of the common English language examinations (IELTS, PTE, CAE, FCE). We will equip students with effective skills and strategies needed to take the academic tests with confidence. Revision materials for all areas of the test are provided.
